What do children need today?
This is a question every parent thinks about—before, during, and after having a child.
What do children truly need? More space to breathe? Less pressure to compete? More authentic learning experiences? Less exposure to biased information? Less anxiety? Less screen time?
In today’s world, children are bombarded with overloaded and often harmful information. They risk losing their natural creativity, curiosity, and unique talents, molded instead by societal expectations—from media to technology.
What children truly need is freedom—freedom to think, speak, and express themselves. They need values, role models to trust, and opportunities to nurture their mind, body, and soul daily. They need art, creativity, emotional support, and a safe space for spiritual growth. Most importantly, they need wisdom—critical thinking and emotional resilience.
This realization led to the creation of YZness. Inspired by a child’s insightful remark, it became clear: something had to change. And so, here we are…
